This technology brings a solution to regulated and sensitive industries to help them better mutualizing and reducing hardware costs, both on desktops and cloud use cases. Its proprietary micro-kernel-based architecture ensures top-tier security with minimal performance trade-offs.
Why we invested?
The main factors that drove our investment in Kerys are: (i) the team, which we believe is technically very strong and complementary; (ii) the timing, with major shifts in hardware architecture, the reorganization of the competitive landscape (notably VMware’s acquisition), and new regulations (particularly NIS2); (iii) the technology, which is highly differentiated, applying micro-kernel architecture to deliver better performance and security, with patent plans underway, and (iv) by reducing the need for physical hardware, Kerys offers a clear and immediate ROI for clients and contribues to more sustainable and efficient IT infrastructure.
