Subscribfy is a Shopify tool that allows ecommerce companies to create a membership with recurring credits. This locks customers into recurring purchases but does not require them to purchase specific products at a set delivery cadence. The membership framework is flexible and customizable by brand. Each brand can select:
- price of membership which equals the amount of credits a customer receives each billing period
- free shipping offers
- product discounts
- new buyer discount
Why we invested?
The founder is a seasoned entrepreneur with direct experience in DTC brands and identified the problem while working at Adore Me. The solution aims to reinvent subscription models by shifting from rigid product delivery to a flexible loyalty approach, improving customer LTV. However, the market faces strong incumbents and low entry barriers. The founder is young, operating solo, and lacks clear leadership charisma.
