A comfortable data-scientist position in the US, plenty of intellectual stimulation, but Romain wasn’t contributing to the world he wanted to see tomorrow. Mobility, health… every step of his career path has since been guided by this motivation. Now he’s tackling the energy sector with Guillaume Louat and Thomas Bajas through Tilt Energy, a platform for managing energy flexibility.
The idea? Shifting or modulating electricity consumption, without sacrificing comfort, to ease demand peaks and better integrate renewable energy. And the icing on the cake: by electrifying more sectors and consuming more intelligently, we gain sovereignty, less imported oil, less gas from elsewhere, more control.
