Double raised $8.5M Series A!

Hi folks!

We can’t get over good news at daphni, and we are always very thrilled to share it with you all!

After investing in their seed round, we are very excited to lead Double’s latest $8.5M Series A, along with existing investors Index and FJ Labs and new investors Teamworthy and Eurazeo. This round’s goal is to accelerate growthscale operationsadd new features, and hire new talents

Wait, we almost forgot to remind you of Double’s mission! The New-York based startup provides busy executives with the tools and methods to make delegation and task management effortless, enabling them only to focus on what matters to them. Their expertise is very wide, as the team’s background is in the productivity sector as well: calendar management, inbox organization, event planning, managing contacts… With the Double app and its more than 100 available assistants, everything is under control!

Founded in 2018 by Alice Default (ex-Sunrise Calendar, acquired $100M in 2015 by Microsoft), Double core value is to bring a human element to productivity tools.

Getting help with work shouldn’t feel like more work” said Alice Default. “AI doesn’t always get it right, but real humans equipped with effective, streamlined tools do. This round of funding will enable Double to expand our customer base and our product and we are honored to have these investors on board.”

Double has more than 400 customers throughout the US and France, including for instance Contentsquare, Aircall, Mural, Hungryroot, and Daring Foods which are already using Double app and, as a great proof of trust, more than 20 current Double customers participated in the round, which represents 10% of the funds raised.

All we wish for the Double’s ambitious team is to double (at least!) its customer base and employees.

Let’s build the future of delegation together!

Da yours,

The daphni team
